Inspect the existing opening
We examine the door, frame, threshold, hinges, lockset, trim, and weather seal to identify the source of poor operation or water entry.
We replace exterior doors with careful checks for the opening, frame, threshold, and weather seal. Our design-build process keeps finish choices and project terms organized.
A properly fitted door supports smoother opening, closing, and latching.
New seals and a sound threshold help control drafts and water entry.
Updated hardware and finish choices can better suit the property’s use and appearance.
Exterior Door Replacement is a construction service that removes an outside door and installs a suitable replacement in the existing opening or a revised opening.

Exterior door replacement covers more than choosing a new panel. We assess the opening, door frame, threshold, hinges, lockset, trim, and weather seal so the parts work together. The selected door must suit the entry, patio, service, or commercial use. Material, swing, glass, hardware, and finish all affect the project scope. We explain those choices during consultation. Our main caution is simple: replacing a door without checking the frame can leave the same sticking or sealing problem in place. We focus on failure points first, then define the work in writing.
We examine the door, frame, threshold, hinges, lockset, trim, and weather seal to identify the source of poor operation or water entry.
We discuss door type, swing, material, glass, hardware, finish, and any frame or trim work that the opening requires.
We provide a written scope that records the selected work and terms before construction begins.
We remove the existing door as planned, prepare the opening, install the replacement, and fit the threshold, hardware, trim, and seal.
We test the swing, latch, lockset, threshold, seal, and visible finish before completing the work.
A few details help us understand the opening and the way you use the door.
We use the consultation to record homeowner goals, door use, opening conditions, and project requirements.
We define the door, frame, threshold, hardware, finish work, and project terms in writing before construction begins.
We guide finish-material selections for the door, trim, hardware, and surrounding entry when clients request that help.
Best remodel experience we have ever had. The oversight, careful workmanship and ownership of the project was above expectations. Our design team was amazing. We also had the same person do all the work start to finish and was a total Pro. Could not recommend enough and will be doing any and all projects through them. This place is a gem.
Leaving a long overdue review. Linda helped us remodel our bathroom and kitchen last year. We also did some flooring improvements, and some electrical and plumbing work along the way. The pricing was very reasonable, and we appreciated that Linda was always conscious of our budget, when we made adjustments to our plan. The work was delivered very quickly on promised timelines. She had some really good suggestions around the choice of flooring, which we are thankful for (especially looking back after a year). Also appreciate her sense of style.. it helped us make the right choices for countertops, tiles and fixtures. It all looks great, our guests often comment on how beautiful our kitchen looks. Thank you!
Overall I enjoyed working with Linda and her team. Even though there were no major redesign of spaces and I knew exactly what tile/fixtures/cabinets etc I wanted I still was appreciative of her insight on certain details and choices. It was very easy to collaborate with her. She makes an effort to be in-tune with a client. She was very responsive and took care of everything that needed attention as soon as she was able too. She made sure that I was listened to and taken care of as a client with her subcontractors. I would work with her again.
Get a written project scope for your door, frame, threshold, hardware, and finish choices in Sammamish.

A door that sticks can have a frame, hinge, threshold, or seal problem. Replacing only the panel may leave the same failure in place. We inspect the full opening and test the latch before defining the work. A written scope then shows whether the project includes frame preparation, trim, hardware, or a complete assembly.
Cold air or visible daylight around an exterior door points to gaps at the jamb, sweep, threshold, or seal. The right replacement depends on where air passes and whether the frame remains sound. We review those points during consultation, then guide material and finish choices for the home or business.
A commercial entry must support repeated use, secure latching, and safe customer access. Door swing, lockset, threshold height, trim, and work-area access all affect the plan. We review the existing layout with the business owner, define the replacement scope in writing, and coordinate construction around the project requirements.
